WHAT IS EARTHING?

Earthing also known as Forest Detox or Grounding, refers to contact with the Earth's surface electrons by walking barefoot outside or sitting, working, or sleeping indoors connected to conductive systems, some of them patented, that transfer the energy from the ground into the body.

APPLYING WELLNESS TO ALL ASPECTS OF LIFE

Foresting takes place at a slow, almost meditative pace. We take our time and look around as we stroll along a forest path.
Engaging our senses and observing our surroundings. Stopping every once in a while to sit, breathe and marvel at Mother Nature, taking in the moment to look up and all around.

This 2-3 hour immersion is a gentle introduction to Forest Detox + Earthing and its benefits.

Forest Time is best described as a slow, relaxing sensory journey designed to calm the body and mind.
The physical and mental health benefits of Earthing have been scientifically proven. Benefits include reduced stress levels, stronger immune system response, and a stabilized cortisol cycle.

During the session, we do not walk very far in distance, and there is plenty of relaxing and soaking in the atmosphere of the very special places we have selected.
You will be provided with a sequence of sensory exercises designed to calm the body and mind.
This includes breathing deeply; Japanese research uncovered essential wood oils can boost our immune system.

A slow walk through the forest may not seem that exciting, but trust me these magical sessions have profound and transformative effects; even those who are used to the outdoors often sharing they have a new appreciation and relationship with nature.
Most people experience such a strong emotion that they are drawn to return time and time again.

If you have ever wondered about the healing effects of Nature, our guides will share various ways in which nature, and in particular trees, helps us relax.
We will also reveal the latest science on how natural settings positively impact the physiology of the body.
You will return home with a few techniques to use when you need them.

We run Forest Bathing sessions all over the US, including deep in the Sam Houston National Forest, an area of Ancient Woodland, with outstanding Lolly Pine Trees which provide a beautifully serene atmosphere.

RESEARCH & FINDINGS ON GETTING GROUNDED

Mounting studies are revealing Earth's negative potential can create a stable internal bioelectrical environment for the normal functioning of all body systems.
Moreover, the intensity of the Earth's potential may be important for setting the biological clocks regulating diurnal body rhythms, such as cortisol secretion. It is also well established that electrons from antioxidant molecules neutralizes reactive oxygen species (ROS, or in popular terms, free radicals) involved in the body's immune and inflammatory responses.

Earthing: The Art of Walking Barefoot
Earthing therapy rests on the intuitive assumption that connecting to the energy of the planet is healthy for our souls and bodies. Although the appeal to the concept of energetically connecting with Mother Earth is ancient, there’s also a more scientific angle to the practice, which possesses that the access to the abundant supply of free electrons in the negatively charged ground can help neutralize free radicals—if only we would take off our shoes and access them.
I'm one of the people who swears by earthing—also called grounding—for everything from inflammation and arthritis to insomnia and depression.
Earthing | Grounding | Forest Detox, however you call it, refers to the discovery of benefits—including better sleep and reduced pain—from walking barefoot outside or sitting, working, or sleeping indoors connected to conductive systems that transfer the Earth's electrons from the ground into the body.
